On 19 October 2026, LLC IQUSION IT held the final client training seminar of its IQusion Days programme. The session addressed AI Governance and RAG, covering rules for using artificial intelligence, corporate data, security and responsibility for automated outcomes. 01
Participants examined how to combine AI capabilities with controlled access to information and review of important decisions. The seminar also considered Human-in-the-Loop arrangements, in which people remain involved at critical stages of a process.
AI Governance establishes operating rules
Enterprise AI use requires agreed policies on the information a system can access, responsibility for its outputs and operations that need approval. The seminar presented AI Governance as a framework for managing these questions.
This includes assigning responsibilities, managing risks, making system behaviour transparent and protecting confidential and personal data. The rules need to relate to specific AI use cases within the organisation.
RAG connects responses to corporate sources
A second focus was Retrieval-Augmented Generation. With this approach, a system retrieves relevant passages from documents, knowledge bases or internal policies and uses them as context when generating a response.
The mechanism brings current enterprise information into the process without retraining the model for every update. It also helps connect answers to specific sources and reduce unsupported statements.
RAG alone does not guarantee accuracy or security. Source quality, retrieval performance, output verification and respect for document-access permissions remain important parts of the implementation.
Human-in-the-Loop for critical decisions
The seminar also covered scenarios in which an authorised employee reviews an automatically prepared result. AI might draft a response to an enquiry or suggest changes to a contract, with a person assessing the proposal before the next action.
This division of work uses automation for preparation while keeping consequential decisions within defined procedures. Employees need to understand where information comes from and be able to correct or reject a proposed result.
Three elements of controlled integration
The approaches complement one another: AI Governance sets the rules, RAG connects corporate sources, and Human-in-the-Loop provides human involvement where the consequences of a decision call for additional review.
In practice, this means aligning data, permissions, responsibilities and approval procedures while designing AI integration with enterprise systems.
The seminar concluded IQusion Days, LLC IQUSION IT’s recurring October programme dedicated to software product updates. This article is adapted from Software Ukraine.
